That no one ever speaks about
A special type of kindness
That is never spoken of out loud

A grace that is in depth
Far beyond just superfluous words
The type that settles deep within
No wondering if there is more

The grace you show yourself
When things are hardly what they seem
When strangers kindness seem far off
And there’s only you that’s standing

Be gentle in your words

The grace you show yourself When things are hardly what they seem When strangers kindness seem far off And there’s only you that’s standing Be gentle in your words The ones you speak of to yourself Be kind in your actions No recipient more worthwhile

For all the pomp and splendour
That each new year brings
It is so easy to forget
That each new day too,
Brings with it
A brand new twenty-four hours
A whole new one thousand, four hundred and forty four minutes
And an immeasurable number of seconds that fill each passing day.

But for all that time means,
To each of us, individually
And to all of us, collectively
It takes but for one moment
To see the whole of your life
As one of the greatest gifts
To ever grace
This already amazing world of ours.
